The definition: tenacious, persevering, determined.
I’ve found this is a key quality in successful Realtors – as it is in life, in general.
When you talk (write or speak) about something important, you’re not “hollering down a rain barrel” as old timers would say, Rather relax but remember you are “on a mission”. You are communicating with purpose, with steadiness, and delivering value.
This means it should be clear:
- where you are coming from
- that you value the other person’s time
- that what you are offering can create value for the other person
Great teachers I have met and worked with agree this must be done with both clarity and simplicity.
They also recommend supporting your persistence by:
- Set Small, Achievable Goals. …
- Focus on the Journey, Not the Outcome. …
- Keep Positive and Supportive People in Your Life. …
- Find Balance: Self-care, Personal Life, Work, and School. …
- Remember Your ‘Why’ …
- Practice Gratitude
Persistence pays both figuratively and, in real estate, literally. Always ask for feedback. And don’t ever give up!
